Formed in 1975, Powerflex was the first to bring MDI urethane skateboard wheels to market. Since then, apart from advances in the MDI Formula, not much has changed. MDI urethane is the material of choice for wheels today.

Powerflex were pioneers in the skateboard wheel industry with a range of colours no-one else was offering to skaters. In 2015, reinvigorated and ready to do it all over again, Powerflex started testing their new and improved skateboard wheel design. The Gumball.
